This ultra rare third shirt worn by DC as they soared to victory in the MLS Eastern Conference and were crowned champions of the MLS Cup after a 2-1 Victory over Colorado Rapids. The Black and Red became the first and only club to win consecutive MLS Cups after lifting the trophy in their inaugural season in 1996.
